AldLiteTM is one of SLT' chromogenic aldehyde detection agents that provide highly sensitive, rapid assay for species with aldhyde groups. This reagent is soluble in alkaline aqueous solution, and it reacts rapidly with aldehyde at room temperature to form a purple colored adduct that is easily identifiable either by visual or spectrometry. This reagent provides higly specific detection of aldehyde in nmol range.
