Sun FluorTM 488 aminooxy (SF488-ONH2) is one of SLT's functional Sun FluorTM dyes with high fluorescent brightness and excellent photostability. SF488 aminooxy is a water soluble, green fluorescent dye with excitation/emission wavelength at 495 nm/515 nm. SF488 aminooxy has excellent reactivity toward aldehyde and ketone groups. Reaction between aminooxy and aldehyde group forms an oxime bond which is more stable than schiff base formed between amine and carbonyl group. Aminooxy functional dyes are ideal choic to label polysaccharides, glycosylatd proteins, antibodies and enzymes.
