Product Descriptions:

Carbonylacrylate NHS (CBA-NHS) is one of SLT's thiol-ene click chemistry reaction reagents that can be used to conjugate to proteins, peptides and other material surfaces bearing primary amine groups. Carbonylacrylate group reacts with thiol group quickly to form a stable thiol ether bond via so called ene-thiol Michael addition. Unlike Maleimide-thiol adduct, which can hydrolyze at alkaline pH, the reaction between carbonylacrylic acid and thiol is non-reversible, and therefore the adduct is more stable for carbonylacrylate-thiol conjuate.
