Cholesteryl modified Pullulan is one of SLT's lipid modified polysaccharide conjugates that were labeled with hydrophobic cholesteryl moiety. Pullulan is a naturally derived, water soluble polysaccharide that has been used for tissue engineering and many other biomedical applications.

Cholesteryl labeled Pullulan from SLT is a cholesterol lipid polysaccharide conjugate that has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties. SLT's Pullulan-Cholesteryl conjugate is prepared by covalent conjugation of Cholesteryl group to pullulan sugar moiety. Extensive purification process has been applied to remove any non-conjugated lipids. This lipid modified pullulan is able to form biodegradable nanocarries for drug delivery.
