Product Description:

Pyrene azide is one of SLT's blue fluorescent dyes that has reactive azide group.  Pyrene is a unique blue fluorescent dye that has exceptionally long fluorescence excite-state lifetime (>100 nanoseconds).  The long excite-state life time of this dye makes it useful for time-resolved fluorescent probing oxygen species in cells and lipid vesicles. Azide functionalized pyrene can react with alkyne under so called Click Chemistry conditions.
