Fluorescein PDP is a thiol reactive fluorescein derivative that has a cleavable dithio pyridyl group.  PDP group is a common functional group that can go Click Chemistry reactions with alkyne groups. Azide functional fluorescein is a green fluorescent dye that emits strong fluorescence light around 515 nm upon excited around 495 nm.
