Product Description:

Carboxy-2,7-dichlorofluorescein diacetate (H2DCFDA) is a cell permeable, non-fluorescent cellular assay probe. Upon cleavage of the acetate groups by intracellular esterases and oxidation, the non-fluorescent H2DCFDA is converted to the highly fluorescent dichlorofluorescein. Fluorescence of dichlorofluorescein is readily detected by a flow cytometer, fluorescent reader or fluorescence microscope. The fluorescent H2DCFDA has excitation/emission around  ~495/520 nm.
