Product Description:

Carboxy-fluorescein diacetate Succinimidyl ester (CFDA) is a cell permeable, non-fluorescent cellular assay probe. Upon cleavage of the acetate groups by intracellular esterases and oxidation, the non-fluorescent CFDA is converted to the highly fluorescent fluorescein. Fluorescence of fluorescein is readily detected by a flow cytometer, fluorescent reader or fluorescence microscope. The fluorescent CFDA has excitation/emission wavelength around ~495/520 nm.
